Tired of chai lattes? Give this sensational vanilla rooibos latte a try.red velvet tea

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup of boiling water
  • Red Velvet Tea
  • 2 cups Vitasoy vanilla flavoured soy milk
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • Ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Steep 2 teaspoons of Red Velvet loose leaf tea in boiling water for 3-4 minutes
  2. Stir in honey
  3. Divide tea between two mugs
  4. Heat and froth soy milk
  5. Pour frothed milk into mugs
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon on top
  7. Sit back and enjoy!

Don't Have A Frother?

If you don’t have your own milk frother you can get the same result (albeit with a lot more effort) with a French press
Start by heating the milk in a heavy based saucepan being careful not to burn the milk. Bring to a simmer and stir gently to prevent a skin from forming on top.
Once the milk is hot pour into the French press and pump until you have created a nice froth.
